Ronald J. Tatka, age 54, beloved husband of Judith, nee Hurckes. Loving father of Joseph, Robert, and Stephanie. Cherished son of the late Nettie, nee Skowron, and the late Joseph Tatka. Son in law of Kathleen, nee Dennehy, and the late James Hurckes. Dear brother of Denise Sanicki. Brother in law of James (Carol) Hurckes, Jack Hurckes, Joyce (James) Kegl, Jerry (MaryAnn) Hurckes, Joseph Hurckes, June (Dominick) DiNardo, and the late Jeffrey Hurckes. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Close family friend of Anita Tojanowski. a Funeral Director for 34 years, graduate of Worsham Mortuary School, and former funeral director for Midway Funeral Home and Fortuna Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services to be held Monday, August 1 at 9 A.M. from the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, to St. Patricia Church for a 10:00 A.M. Mass. Interment Resurrection. I first met Ron after I started at Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Stickney and we used his livery service rather often. He was a true professional and I enjoyed his company. Though I have not seen him in years it still hurt to hear of his passing. Please accept my condolences. May our Lord Jesus comfort you in this difficult time.
