So sorry for your loss. We have been friends and neighbors for many years. I wish someone has told us, we would have come to the wake. We didn't find out until you past the house this morning. Please except my who family's condolences.

As I recall from my own turbulent youth Pittsburgh's RUTH SCHMUDE whose "big hugs" were fondly appreciated in the years after my own dad passed away---I send this condolence to my SCHMUDE cousins who hail from near The Windy City. It's no doubt that your RUTH is safe in the Arms of Our Lord in Heaven along with all of our dearly departed souls. May all of my cousins near Chicago be surrounded with peace.

It is my deepest prayer---so far unanswered---that we'll have an opportunity to really meet on my next time through that area-------or at the 2018 SCHMUDE MEET-n-GREET sometime in May-2018. I'm sure that RUTH would be smiling from Heaven to know that we really do care about each other even from afar. RIP your RUTH SCHMUDE ((and the one I knew as a kid here in Pittsburgh)) and GOD BLESS US ALL........
