Adam Gacek. Longtime resident of Alsip, Illinois passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at the age of 82 years.

Married to his beloved wife, Halina, nee Opalinska, for 55 wonderful years, their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they shared a passion for travel, creating memories in countless places that brought them joy and enriched their lives.

Loving father of Renata Kula, Rafal (Elzbieta) Gacek, and Christopher (Anna) Gacek.  Cherished Dziadzia of Jennifer, Sonia, Ashlee, Lukas, Grace, Milania, Stanley, and Jonathan.  Proud Pradziadek of Eliana.  Dear brother of Stanislawa Rypel, Maria Miskowiec, Ewa Dais, and the late Karol Gacek, Jan Gacek, Jozek Gacek, and Antoni Gacek.

A proud and doting grandfather, Adam treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren. Whether it was sharing stories, offering wisdom, or simply enjoying their laughter, their visits were among his greatest joys. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and a life well-lived, inspiring all who knew him to cherish family, embrace adventure, and live with a full heart.
