It's with a heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of Brock Aaron Mavity on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the age of 45 years. Beloved husband of Laura, (nee Mathew). Treasured father of Emelia and James. Loving son of Faith, nee Swajkowski and Kevin Mavity. Loving brother of Brittany (Kevin) Hayes, Brent, and BreeAnne (James) Goutos. Fond uncle of Teagan, Streicher, Olivia, Rylan, and Mia.  Dear cousin and friend of many.

Brock lived a life full of laughter, sports, coaching and playing with his children. Born on Oct 15th , 1979 to Kevin and Faith Mavity, Brock grew up in Midlothian and graduated from Marist High school in 1997. He went on to Marquette University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Management Computer Systems. Growing up, Brock loved spending his summers on Magician Lake with family. He loved coaching James in baseball and watching him play on various teams and seeing his daughter Eme grow as a gymnast over the years. He frequently grilled, especially during football season. Often preparing Sunday meals as smells of his smoker filled the neighborhood each week. A lifelong dog lover, he rescued his first dog Reese and most recent addition to the family, Hicks. Brock departed this world far too soon, leaving a void that can never be filled. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation Monday, January 13, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Tuesday, January 14th beginning with Chapel Prayers at 9:00 A.M. from the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, to Incarnation Catholic Church, 5757 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, for an 9:30 A.M.
