Carol Linn Sava-Armstrong of Tinley Park, passed away suddenly on May 9, 2025 at the age of 65. Her family was shocked and devastated but takes comfort knowing that she is surrounded by many cherished loved ones in heaven. She will forever be our special angel.

One word to describe Carol was joy. Everywhere she went, Carol brought the laughter, smiles, and fun. Everyone who knew Carol absolutely adored her. From her early working years as a beautician, to moving on as a nurse, and ending her career as an activity director, Carol spent her time helping others feel better about themselves. She gave selflessly and abundantly to everyone around her. Carol's mark has been left and the world is definitely a better place because she was here.

Carol was the beloved wife of Mark Armstrong. Devoted daughter of the late Matthew and Harriet Sava. Loving sister to the late Judith Oftedahl, late James Sava, and late David (Darlene) Sava. Sister-in-law of Alan and Glen Armstrong. Cherished aunt of Brett (Cecelia) Oftedahl, Amy (Christopher) Pugeda, Daniel (Kelley) Sava, Michael (Kelly) Sava, Caroline Duffy, and Thomas Armstrong. The glorious "Greatest Aunt" to Luke, Lauren, Scott, Nate, Ava, Grace, Evan, Kaelin, Lucy, Brook, and Lennon. Fond niece, cousin, friend, and "Adopted Aunt" to many.
