On Saturday January 12, 2019, Charles V. Horbin, father of three, passed away at the age of 71. Charles, known to his friends and family as "Chuck," was born on July 16, 1947 to Geraldine (nee. Finn) and Charles T. Horbin. He spent 23 years as a postal service employee and was a friend of Bill W. He enjoyed taking walks, eating cookies, and sharing ice cream cones with his grandkids. He is survived by his three children, Megan, Lindsay, and Charles A., his sister Barbara Malek, brother Andrew, several nieces and nephews, and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 23, 2019 at Most Holy Redeemer Church at 9525 Lawndale Avenue in Evergreen Park at 10:30 A.M. Flowers and cards may be sent to 9237 S.
