Diane Wesensten, was born in Chicago, Illinois on September. 15, 1942.  Formerly of Miami Shores, Florida, resident of Palos Heights, passed away with her sister Suzanne by her side on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the age of 81 years. Loving daughter of the late Dolores M., nee Kimmey, and John D. Wesensten Sr.  Beloved sister of Suzanne Wesensten and the late John D. Wesensten Jr. Dear granddaughter of the late Ann, nee Drysdale, and Charles F. "Shibby" Wesensten.  It was Diane's wishes not to have any public funeral services.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Diane worked as a registered nurse for over 30 years.  She was a kind, private person who loved her family and cared for her brother, mom, and dad.  She loved animals, nature, and was an avid reader, especially history, and she gave generously to charities.
