Obituary

Douglas George Brown born August 31th, 1944, passed away in his sleep on December 19th, 2022. He was a loving husband to his wife Maureen Brown of 57 years; cherished father to Michele Lunik (Brown) (Lynn Lunik) David Brown (Donna Carr-Brown), and Milissa Brown; Treasured Grandfather to Avan Brown, Marcelo Avila, Ethan Lunik, and Luna Brown; cherished brother to Peggy Paul (Brown); Preceeded in death by parents William and Violet (Bonnivere) Brown, sister Nancy Wapniraski (Brown), Linda Vanderbilt (Brown), and brother William (Billy) Brown.

Douglas was a painting contractor his entire life. He was a ray of light to those that were fortunate enough to be a part of his life. He was the epitome of the word fight, beating terrible cancers multiple times, an exemplary grandfather, and an amazing dancer. He enjoyed nothing more than being around his family with some music on and sharing his dance moves. He will forever be cherished, loved, missed, and in our hearts until we are with him again. We are thankful for every second we were given with him.
