Edward G. Lewandowski, U.S. Army Veteran, was born on September 24, 1935 and passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the age of 86 years.  Beloved husband of the late Betty, nee Matz.  Loving father of David (Elizabeth Lough) and Thomas.  Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Fond pet-dad of Lady, Lucy, and his lap dog Nikki.  Devoted employee of UNARCO Leavitt Tube for 42 years.

Visitation Friday, September 23, 2022 from 9 A.M. until time of service 11:30 A.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood.   Interment will occur at Posey Chapel Cemetery, 3908 1000 North, Laporte County, Indiana, Galena Township (See directions below), at 2:00 P.M. Go east on 127th Street, take I-294 South ramp towards Indiana. 1.5 mi.

Follow I-294 S and I-94 61.5mi.

Take exit 1 for Harbor Country Drive from I-94 E.

Turn right onto M-239 S (entering Indiana)

Continue onto IN-39 (M-239 and IN-39 are the same road) 6.5 mi.

Turn left onto W 1000 N/Galena R (traveling Eastward)

Posey Chapel Cemetery is about 5 miles down on 1000N on the right side of the road on a hill.
