Frank J. Kabat, 82 of Carmel, Indiana was born into eternal life, February 21, 2016. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia; children, Sharon Griffin, Bruce Kabat, Joyce (Terry) Crowder; grandchildren, Jenna (T.J.) O'Neil, Brad Scriff, Tim Griffin, Adam Crowder; great-grandchildren, Tommy O'Neil and Jimmy O'Neil; siblings, Lorraine (Joseph) Gorski, Meline Cholewa, Sister Mary Magdalene, and Robert Kabat, and several nieces and nephews. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Magdalene Kabat; sister, Irene Cholewa, daughter-in-law, Roseanne Kabat. Visitation Thursday, February 25th from 3-8 P.M. Funeral Friday 9 A.M. from the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood to Incarnation Church for a 9:30 A.M. Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Frank was a graduate of Pullman Technical Institute and Purdue University and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for over 37 years at International Harvester which later become Navistar, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed golfing, working about the home, and spending time with his family.
