James A. Duax

James A. Duax, U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away at his Palos Heights residence on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the age of 93.  Loving husband of Monica, nee Charney, for 70 years.  Cherished uncle of Michael (Gina) Welsh, Edward Welsh, James (Nancy) Welsh, Claire Welsh, Jean Dignan, Michael King, Tara Purgatory, Melissa Diel, John King, and many more nieces and nephews.  Dear brother-in-law of Jeanne (Ken) King.  James was a proud Ironworkers Local 1 Union Member.

Visitation Monday, September 8, 2025 from 8:30 A.M. until time of prayers at 10:30 A.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, to St. Terrence Catholic Church, 4300 W. 119th Place, Alsip, for an 11:00 A.M.
