James E. O'Brien, 76 years.  Beloved husband and best friend of Jane, nee LaPorte.  Loving dad of Patsy (John) Harmon, Jim (Wanda), Andy (Laurie), and the late Michael.  Adored Bumpa of J.P., Matt, Kelsey, Ryan, Kayla, Jimmy, Shannon, Kevin, Maggie, and Lindsey.  Dear brother of Colette (Jim) Halper.  Fond brother in law of Patsy (Mike) Powers, Linda (the late Bernard) LaPorte, and the late Penny LaPorte.  Special uncle of Jayne, Katie, Shawn, Karly, Paul, Tony, David, Nicole, and Kim.  Cherished friend of many.

Visitation Thursday, October 4th from 3-9 P.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood.  Funeral Friday, October 5th, 10:15 A.M., to Incarnation Catholic Church, 5757 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, for an 11:00 A.M. Mass.  Interment Private.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Catholic Charities LOSS Program or Palos Hospice would be appreciated.  Devoted member of IBEW Local 134 for 43 years.
