John "Motown" Mauna , passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the age of 54.  Loving father of Laura (Blas Jr. Sanchez) Christina Mauna, Justin & Johnny Mauna. Giovanni Mauna & Gianna Mauna. Cherished grandpa of Davian Mauna, Angelika Salgado, Dahlia Sanchez, Orlando Salgado, Blas Sanchez III & Logan Sanchez. Dear brother of Vanessa Mauna. Fond uncle of Adrian, Abigail, Jada, and Leo.  Dear friend of Rick, Julian, and many more.  Fond nephew and cousin of many.  John was an animal lover especially his cats. John "Motown" gained his nickname by his lifelong love for motown music. When we hear "I'll be around by The Spinners" we will know "Motown" is around us always and watching over us.
