Celebración de la Vida de Juanita Gonzalez

Juanita González, falleció en paz rodeada de su familia en su residencia de Alsip el Domingo 20 de Octubre de 2024 a la edad de 93 años. Juanita, hija de Salvador Fuentes y Juanita Rivas, nació en Pueblo Colorado el 2 de Junio del 1931, y fue hermana de 8.

En el año1950 contrajo matrimonio con José González, juntos celebraron 74 años de matrimonio. Construyeron una familia numerosa en San Miguel de La Union, en Jalisco México. Juanita fue la madre amorosa de Salvador (Trinidad), Carmela (Juvenal), Gloria (el difunto Rodolfo), Maria de Jesús (el difunto Rosendo), Rosa (José), José (Martha), Martha (Pablo), Maria de Luz (Patricio), Miguel (Maribel), Juan Carlos, y el difunto Reynaldo (Juanita). Abuelita de mas de 80 nietos y nietas, Bisabuela de 30 y Tatarabuela de 15. Juanita fue tía y prima de muchos.

Fue y será siempre el mejor ejemplo a seguir. Deja un legado extraordinario de amor y comprensión, una familia numerosa, y gracias a su cariño y consejos, una familia unida. Qué afortunados somos de haber podido llamarla nuestra. Siempre fue la luz de la familia, nos levantaba el ánimo con su humor y su risa contagiosa.

Celebraremos su vida y su legado e invitamos a quienes deseen a hacer lo mismo. Visitación Miércoles, 23 de Octubre 2024 de 3-9 P.M.

El Funeral sera el Jueves, comenzando con las oraciones a las 10:15 A.M. en la capilla de la Funeraria Becvar & Son, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, Se celebrara una misa a las 11:00 en St. Terrence Catholic Church, 4300 W. 119th Street, Alsip. Después de la misa procederemos al cementerio Holy Sepulchre de Alsip. Para más información: (708) 824-9000 o www.becvarfuneralhome.com

Celebration of Life for Juanita Gonzalez

Juanita Gonzalez, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence in Alsip on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the age of 93. Juanita, daughter of Salvador Fuentes and Juanita Rivas, was born in Pueblo Colorado on June 2, 1931, and was the sister of 8.

In 1950 she married Jose Gonzalez, together they celebrated 74 years of marriage. They raised a large family in San Miguel de La Union, Jalisco Mexico. Juanita was the loving mother of Salvador (Trinidad), Carmela (Juvenal), Gloria (the late Rodolfo), Maria de Jesus (the late Rosendo), Rosa (Jose), Jose (Martha), Martha (Pablo), Maria de Luz (Patricio), Miguel (Maribel), Juan Carlos, and the late Reynaldo (Juanita). Grandmother of more than 80 grandchildren, great-grandmother of 30 and great-great-grandmother of 15. Juanita was aunt and cousin to many.

She was and will always be the best example to follow. She leaves behind an extraordinary legacy of love and understanding, a large family, and thanks to her love and advice, a united family.  How fortunate we are to have been able to call her our own. She was always the light of the family, lifting our spirits with her humor and contagious laughter. We will celebrate her life and legacy and invite those who wish to do the same.

Visitation Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 3-9 P.M. The Funeral will be Thursday, beginning with prayers at 10:15 A.M. in the chapel of Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at St. Terrence Catholic Church, 4300 W. 119th Street, Alsip.
