Leonard J Blazek passed away unexpectedly in Phoenix, AZ on Sunday, March 23, 2025.  He will be reunited in Heaven with his wife of 46 years, Patricia (nee Nedza), his parents, John and Evelyn Blaszczyk, sister Judy Young (Wayne) and his many beloved dogs.  He is survived by his daughters, Bridgette (Stephen Czablewski) and Heather Tymm (Rob), who meant the world to him.  He will be so missed by his granddaughters Haley (Princess), Caitlin (Precious), Sabrina and Amelia (Sweet Peas).  His family and many friends and acquaintances are shocked that he is gone.  His personality filled a room and his off-color jokes were (usually) a hit.   He worked for many years and many hours at Oak Lawn Toyota where his customer service earned him many awards and even more friends. After retirement, he moved to Arizona where he expanded his circle of friends and found companionship with Joy Donnelly.  Even though his passing fills us with sadness, we will remember him for his sense of humor, his gregarious spirit, his love of Newfoundlands and Hawaii, his willingness to help others and his dedication to his family.

Visitation Monday, April 7, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  Funeral Tuesday.
