Louis G. Rekash, 68 years, of Oak Forest. United States Army, 1st Cavalry Division, combat veteran of the Vietnam War. Husband of Myrtle, nee Boyer. Father of Shelly (Rick) Baisa and Jonathan (Vanessa). Grandfather of Gavin, Keegan & Chloe Baisa and Noah, Elijah, & Joshua Rekash. Memorial Service to be held Thursday, September 22 from 5-9 P.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 West 127th Street, Crestwood. Friends and family will meet at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL) the following day, Friday, September 23rd at noon, for military funeral honors and final prayers.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the local temporary housing facility Veterans Life Changing Services would be greatly appreciated.
