Mark J. Zuiker

Mark J. Zuiker, born February 4, 1967, passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday July 2, 2026 at 59 years of age. He is survived by his friends, his sister Christine, and his two sons Nicholas and Jacob.

Mark was a lifelong resident of the south suburbs of Chicago. He attended St. Christopher Catholic School and Bremen High School. After graduating high school, he worked for a brief time as a handiman before joining the Crestwood Police force. After some years on the force, he transitioned to becoming a forklift mechanic and continued in that role until his passing.

One of Mark's greatest joys was the time he had spent coaching his two sons through both youth soccer and baseball. Both he and his sons made lifelong friends through the community in these activities.

In his free time, Mark enjoyed motorcycles, rock and roll, and spending time with both in the garage. In the colder months these would of course be paired with watching the Bears whenever possible.

Mark had grown up wanting to be a part of a big family, as such he picked up a lot of family throughout his life. He always loved the family he was born into, the family he helped bring into the world, and the family he had made along the way. Mark will always be with us; may he rest now with Lord.
