Mary Ann Kaniewski, nee Pacholski, age 85 of Crestwood. Born May 23, 1930. Passed away Monday, September 14, 2015. Born in West Pullman to the late Lillian and Stanley Pacholski. Beloved wife of the late Richard (2003). Loving mother of Carol (Dennis) Cwiak, Fred, and Thomas (Patty). Beloved sister of the late Florence (late Clyde) LaRue, Virginia (David) Chilcote, and the late James Pacholski. Cherished Busia (grandmother) of Kelly (Anthony) Bristow, Dr. Kari Cwiak (Pastien Peou), Adam (Tiffiany) Cwiak, Christopher (fiancee Lyn) Cwiak, Taylor Marie Kaniewski, and Thomas "T.J." Kaniewski, Jr. Proud great grandmother of Matthew, Tyler, Sarah, Ryan, Addison, Emily, Alani, and Caroline. Loving aunt of Sandy (Ken) Nielsen and many other nieces, nephews, and several lifelong friends. Longtime employee of Nathan Hale School (Crestwood) Media Center. Longtime member AMVETS #72 Ladies Auxiliary. A very special THANK YOU to everyone at Palos Community Hospital Hospice for the loving care of our mother in our time of need. Immediate cremation as per Mary Ann's wishes with a memorial service on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of prayer service 3:00 P.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood.
