Paige Taylor Smith, 30, passed away unexpectedly on August 14, 2025, just four days after the birth and loss of her newborn son, Emerick King. She is now reunited in peace with both her sons, including her firstborn who was born still.

Her life was not without struggle. She faced the challenges of addiction and hardship, yet in recent years she fought with determination to rebuild her life and prepare for the role she wanted most — to be a mother. Her strength was measured not just in the battles she overcame, but in the love she carried through them.

She was a daughter, sister, and friend who could make you laugh even on the darkest days, who loved with a full and generous heart, and who never stopped hoping for better days ahead. Her greatest joy was the dream of raising her children, a dream she pursued with courage until the very end.

She is survived by her mother Tara Young, brother Tony Young, sister Hannah (Erik) Knutson and her two nieces Phoebe and Marnie as well as her special friend Jerry who will carry her memory forward with love and pride.
