Paul Tishka, 96 years, W.W.II U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Dolores, nee Jobst. Loving father of David, Paula (Kevin) Dansart, Mark (Robin), and the late Wayne (Cindy). Cherished grandfather of Jennifer (Joe) Johnson, Christopher (Jamie), Lori (Ray) McCarthy, Beth (Mike) Haddix, Abbey, Colleen (Ben) Thompson, David (Marietta), Kevin, Eric (fiancé Krissy) Dansart, Anne Marie, Ryan, Michael and Regan and great-grandfather of 13. Dear brother of the late Stephen (the late Stephanie), Frank (the late Dolores), Dolores Schultz, Mary Glazer, John, Ann and Helen. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Paul was a die-hard Chicago Cubs Fan and a retired 43-year employee of Continental Can Company. He especially enjoyed spending vacations with his family in Sister Lakes, Michigan.
Visitation Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 3-9 P.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W, 127th Street, Crestwood. Lying in state, Friday, November 10, 2023 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 8530 W. 131st St., Palos Park, from 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass, 10:30 A.M.
