Raymond Blaettler, 86 years of Alsip, passed away on February 4, 2017.  Beloved husband of the late Dolores.  Loving father of Susan Sperk, Laura (John) Clark, and Karen (Frank) Messina.  Cherished grandfather of April Sperk, Brian Clark, Samantha McKie, Andrea Zylius, Nicholas Blaettler, Jamie Messina, and the late Thomas Messina.  Great-grandfather of Katie, Clark, Jack, Kylie, Colin, Rhailynn, and Ivy.  Preceeded in death by his brothers Kenneth and Robert.  Fond brother-in-law of Florian (the late Elizabeth) Kochanny, Emily (the late Thomas) Yurkovich, and Andrew (Marilyn) Jurgovan.  Per Raymond's wishes, there will be a private interment at St. Benedict Cemetery in Crestwood.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to Becvar & Son Funeral Home, (708) 824-9000 or www.becvarfuneralhome.com
