Roberta "Bert" (Krantz) Donnelly

Roberta "Bert" Donnelly;  The Matriarch of the Donnelly's of 52nd & Spaulding, Chicago, passed away at her home surrounded by her family and loved ones.  She was 83.  Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert Donnelly; parents Geoffrey and Eleanor Krantz; and sister Jacqueline Thompson.  She leaves behind 5 children: Jeff (Susan) Donnelly, Kathy (Bob) Bailey, Jim (Kathy) Donnelly, Ellyn (John) Mussallem, and Robert Donnelly.  Dearest Grandma of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Fond niece, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.  While caring for her family was her priority, Roberta was a 2nd generation, proud employee of Sportservice for decades and was dedicated to her work at White Sox Park.  She loved sewing, crafting, gardening, and traveling with her children and grandchildren, and taking care of Jake.

Visitation Sunday, May 23rd from 3-9 P.M.  Funeral Service Monday, May 24th, 11:00 A.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.  For more info.
