Steve M. Balasa, 49 years.  Born March 14, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois.  Suddenly passed away on January 15, 2017.  Son of Jean Balasa and the late Frank I. Balasa.  He is survived by his children Mathew, Nicole, Courtney, Heather, and Jessi Balasa, and his sisters Susan Allen and Sandra Medler.  Fond uncle of Jaclyn (Sean) O'Brien, Alexandria Medler, Jennifer (Cody) Nelson, and Andrew Fischer.  Adored by Gracey, Mason, and Jake Slinker.  He leaves behind his beloved companion, Karrie Kimbrell (his angel) who gave him true happiness and love.  Karrie was truly Steve's soul mate.
