Thomas R. Martinez, Veteran of the Illinois Army National Guard, passed away suddenly on July 14, 2025 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Carol, nee Micelli, for almost 60 years. Dear son of the late Joseph and Edna Martinez.  Cherished son-in-law of the late Joseph and Jennie Micelli.  Brother of Jacqueline "Connie,"  Barbara (the late Donald), Linda, and the late Robert (the late Mary Ann), William "Billy," and Daniel "Danny."  Loving brother-in-law of Edward (Verda), Donald (Terrie), Chris (Tom), and the late Charles, Josephine (the late Sam), Frank "Murph" (the late Joyce), Rose Mary (the late Walter), Virginia (the late Richard), Joseph, and Kitty (the late Michael). Fond uncle, great uncle, and great-great uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Tom was a wonderful longtime friend of so many people.

Visitation Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral Monday, July 21st, beginning with Chapel Prayers at 10:30 A.M. to Incarnation Catholic Church, 5757 W. 127th Street, Crestwood, for an 11:00 A.M.
