William C. Trent, a Navy veteran who served in the Korean War, died on April 5, 2023. He was 89.

Beloved husband for 63 years to the late Darlene A. Trent (nee Bleier) and cherished son of the late Christ and Daisy Trent.  Devoted father of Darlene (John) Shilka, Mary (Owen) Conrad, the late Chris (Mary) Trent, the late baby Laura Lee Trent and Elizabeth (Tom) Surma.  Loving grandfather of John (Camila) Shilka, Lauren Trent, Brian Shilka, Josh Catoire, Chris Surma, Jacob Surma, and Matthew Surma.

Visitation Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood. Family and friends will directly gather Thursday at Peace Memorial Church, 10300 W. 131st Street, Palos Park, for a Visitation from 9:00 A.M. until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, 3401 W. 87th Street, Evergreen Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests to plant a tree in memory of William C. Trent or donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.lls.org)
