Alvin James Aronson, age 86, of Burbank, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 29th, 2020. He was born to his parents Olaf and Edith (née Wreglesworth) Aronson on May 26th, 1934 at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. He was raised in the Marquette Park neighborhood of Chicago and graduated from Harper High School in 1952. He was a reservist in the U.S. Air Force for a few years and a member of the Drywall Lathers and 597 Pipefitters Unions. He worked as a wedding photographer and finally a small business HVAC owner. He was known to be a “kid at heart” with an adventurous spirit and enjoyed skiing, tennis, sailing and even flying. In his younger years he was a smallcraft pilot and member of the New Buffalo Yacht Club that raced sailboats from Chicago Monroe Harbor to Mackinaw Island. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and boating with family on Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. He was survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Margaret (French) and children Chris (Lisa), Diane (Mark), Lisa, Dale (Lisa), Andrea (Darrin), David (Geena), and loving grandchildren Elyssa (Dylan), Michael (Diane), Levi, Ariel, Amanda, Brenda, Victoria, Karalyn, Andrew, Elliot & Alexandra, brothers in-law Gilbert and Charles, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and dear sister Betty (Boll).
Visitation for Alvin James Aronson will be on Monday, October 5th from 9:30 A.M. until 11:45 A.M. at the Becvar & Son Funeral Home, 5539 W. 127th Street, Crestwood to Trinity Evangelical Covenant Church, 9230 S.
