Daniel W. Schuller

With deepest sorrow we announce that Daniel "Danny" William Schuller, age 50, resident of Crestwood, Illinois, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 9th in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Danny is survived by his parents, Dennis and Kathy, his brother Jason (Wendy), their children Zander and Ethan, and his brother Matthew (Amanda), and their children Brooke and Kenzlee, his cousins and many, many wonderful friends. Danny was a graduate of 1990 Marist High School, continued his college studies at DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Operations Management (1993), Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology (2005) and Bachelor of Science, Computer Info. Systems (2005).  Danny continued his desire for education throughout his adult life as he went on to study Geographic Info. Systems (GIS) at the University of Denver. He was currently enrolled at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also attended DePaul University where he studied Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Sciences. Danny had great affection for his family, enjoyed hanging out with his Dad and brothers in the garage, D'J ing at parties, watching football and working on his cars and motorcycles. He was the uncle who took delight in bringing treats to his nieces and nephews. He had a fondness for all animals and nature, great sense of humor and always looked on the positive side of life. He often shared his thoughts with his Mom, who he insisted she be more positive and not worry so much. He often talked about space travel which was one of his life long dreams. At the time of his death, Dan was working as Senior Engineer, Systems Engineering at Raytheon Technologies in Colorado Springs. His devotion for his job was immense as well as to his teammates. Danny was known for his outgoing and fun-loving personality, friendliness and most of all his beautiful smile. He surely will be missed.  "In one of the stars, I shall be living.
