Linda L. (Schultz) Yaksich

Linda L. Yaksich, nee Schultz, age 71.  Beloved mother of Rick (Laura), Wendy (Ed) Lawler, Gary (Loren), and Karen Connell.  Cherished grandmother of Ashley, Ricky, Peyton, and Emilie.  Loving sister of Lydia (Kurt) Vedder and Diana Vires.  Kind aunt, friend, and Pet-Mom of many.  

This amazing and beautiful woman Linda Yaksich, best friend, and the happiest person I've ever known has lost her battle to cancer and passed on Tuesday evening with her kids by her side.
Two years ago when she learned about her illness, her goal was to make sure that she got to do everything she wanted to in life! Mom went out and got a passport, hoping to travel to Europe, went to every sports event and school event for her grandchildren, she even became a 'professional' groom at the stable for Goose! Even when she didn't feel well, she pushed herself with a smile on her face to do things so that she could spend every minute giving away her love to those around her! 

I've never met a stronger person in my life! To be there with her and watch as her diagnosis changed and list of medications grew, one would never know the suffering she endured. To be able to continue smiling through the worst of it all shows how brave this woman truly is. You deserve to rest in peace, you have earned it!
