Many Angels whispered to you and you took their hand knowing that your work here on earth is finally done. You are now in a place where there's no tears, nor sorrow only laughter and smiles, and no more pain, there will always be a beautiful tomorrow. As you move amongst the clouds I hope you will look down and smile upon us, while the angels sing to you a heavenly song. You are not alone any longer. All those who went before are there. They too have waited with anticipation for your journey home, your final eternal rest. . I know I'll grieve and wish that you were still here. I will ALWASY recall the fond memories of all the moments we spent together. I will hold each memory very dear in my heart. I will remember how much you loved all of us. I will carry the love I have always had for you deep within my heart. You know I will shed a tear or two for MY loss, a dear friend. I know your life long pain is now gone and you are free of the vessel that you carried for these 85 years. YOU ARE FREE! I am elated that you waited for me to be at your bed side as you breathed your last doing what you loved to do, Praying, not ever for yourself but for ALL of Gods children left here waiting for our turn to join you in such a beautiful place, called Heaven. I did not ever want you leave this world alone. I know you are not alone now. So now you are with Him, God has waited a long time for your arrival and many plans have been made for your arrival. You are in his grace and in the palm of his hands, being cared for by the best pain medicine one could ever receive, the grace of God. Father in Heaven grant your presence, peace and tender care to my best friend, Father Bob. Your friend Jim

Father Dovick was one of my favorite teachers at Quigley South. His knowledge of history and the Civil War made his classes so enjoyable. I remember his tributes to JFK. If you have an opportunity to review the yearbook from 1963 you will see Father Dovick reading the Chicago Sun-Times.... and reviewing the information on JFK's assassination.

Rest in Peace Fr. Bob. Wieczne odpoczywanie racz mu dać Panie, a światłość wiekuista niechaj mu świeci. Niech odpoczywa w pokoju wiecznym. Amen
