Porfirio Enrique "Pete" Herrera, September 16, 1935 to October 28, 2016, 81 years. Beloved husband of Maria Elena Herrera.  Devoted father to Teresita, Gerardo, Henry, Mauricio, Cecilia and Lorenzo.  Loving father-in-law to Liza, Albert, Karen and Dwayne.  Cherished grandfather to Arianne, Erika, Albert Jr., Joseph, Anthony, Daniel, Stephen, Elena, and Phillip. Sweet great-grandfather of Eliana Rose.  Dear uncle to Herrera's of California, Gonzalez' of Chicago, and Barrera's of Mexico. He was a dear friend to many people. He loved to sing, paint and smile. He is preceded by his three amigos: Rivets, Smokey, and Shadow.  Visitation Sunday, October 30th from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
