Uncle Lou, Thank you for being such a great friend to our father. He couldn't have asked for a better friend. You were always there for him. Much love and peace, Denise and Janel

Safely Home

I am in home in Heaven, dear ones;
Oh , so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.

All the pain and grief is over,
Every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.

Did you wonder I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! But Jesus’ love illumined
Every dark and fearful glade.

And He came Himself to meet me
In that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus’ arm to lean on,
Could I have one doubt or dread?

Then you must no grieve so sorely,
For I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth’s shadows,
Pray to trust our Father’s Will.

There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand;
Do it now, while life remaineth-
You shall rest in Jesus’ land.

When, that work is all completed,
He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!

Please accept our condolences, we will miss Louie.

What was God Doing At 10:06 Last Night?" We don't know what God's perfect plan is for each of us. I do know looking in the review mirror we see His plan as it unfolds. We still don't understand why it happens like it does. Last night the Father called you to come home and welcome you face to face in His grace. I can hear the Father say, "Lou, welcome home good and faithful servant." I know Lou Recash - husband, father, grandfather, patriot and a proud soldier of the 1st Calvary. We are all a part of a Band of Brothers and Sister. He was also part of a larger Army. The Army of Christ! Lou was a strong believer. I remember him calling me a few years ago to make sure that I knew Christ was my Savior. He wanted to make sure we would be with each other for eternity. He was a great friend and was part of the reason I'm here today. Lou, I honor you - your life and who you were as a brother in Christ. You showed me how to extend my faith and I thank you for that. Your family, friends and country honor and lift you up. I am honored to say you are my friend and that I know you. Bob Braido

My heartfelt sympathy for all of you. Lou was such a great man. The one thing that sticks out in my mind is that there "always" had to be ice in the house. What a great friend. He will truly be missed.
